ABOUT THE AUTHORS

For over 35 years Steve Wilson worked to compile a comprehensive photographic book of Australia’s reptiles. He works as a fauna consultant and for more than 25 years he has worked at the Queensland Museum, educating the public and instilling a desire to conserve our unique biological heritage.

Gerry Swan is an Associate of the Australian Museum and past editor of the journal Herpetofauna. Gerry has written several books and also works as a reptile consultant. He has a particular interest in the reptiles of the arid and semi-arid regions of New South Wales.
